An Astanga moment July 2001. In the summer of 2000 I bought an Astanga book. Or Ashtanga Vinyasa. Whatever, eh. You're not supposed to practice straight from a book, but there were no teachers in Cambridge. I wished for a teacher. When I moved to Spain I found Shoshana on the raw vegan Eco Forest. She gave me a few lessons until I was attacked by some dogs one day on the way home. I didn't go back. Then I moved back to Cambridge and found a lovely teacher called Isabel. She's hidden in a shop called Baby Time. I was in there coz my mate Lisa's just had a baby and she'd told me there was an astanga teacher. I wasn't there out of broodiness. Really. Anyway, I was lovingly "corrected" by Isabel and am extremely grapefruit to the Universe for manifesting these 2 wonderful women. Lisa says you don't have to have a baby to go into Baby Time. Oh. Love this one! Oh. Smile or something. Think this hurts a bit. Head up. Up! Crrrrrick That's a bit more like it Oh yes!
