Winter party 2002

This was an endless cake. I made it for Byron -- his wife Helen had commissioned
me, as it was his birthday earlier in the week. What a lovely surprise
for him -- and he generously gave everyone a piece!

Plastic cups abound. People relaxing and drinking at the party.

There were lots of raw children there. One of them was obviously running
on Duracel as he didn't stop all day. The winner of one of our competitions
was a 14 year old girl, she was from Russia, has only been in the UK for
2 years, and beat all those grown ups!

Raw baby Niall with daddy Alex and mummy Sara in the background.
"I saw the trailer
last night and You enchanted me...finally I got to here Your voice
and let me be swept away by the sweet, tingling music and dream about
sticky blueberry muffins and fruitmix in a melonbasket!! I thank God
everyday 'cause He sent You across my path to a life full of magic...Love
Lena!"

Paul Nison and fairy me.

I made punch for everyone when they arrived. Well, until it ran out, anyway.
I juiced oranges, lemons and apples, and added cinnamon sticks, vanilla,
mixed spice and fruit chunks. Yummy, it was.

Holly prepares the evening buffet. I couldn't understand how anyone was
hungry at this point. But maybe that was because I ate 2 Christmas dinners...

Debs with her bloke Paul. I can't tell you why they're laughing.

Much thinking was going on at this table during the quiz. I noticed a
fairy walking round offering help to some people, but don't tell anyone.

Gavin's sausages. All raw, all vegan, all tasty.

"I'll give you some Christmas stuffing if you let me see your answers"
The contestants get cranberry saucy.

Paul Nison up front and personal. Aw, I feel very guilty. I was supposed
to be going to the durian centre the day after the party with him but
I appear to be cleansing and my eyes are pokey and horrid and I feel like
blah.

Me and birthday boy Byron.

Debs pretending to be sweet instead of the kick boxing champ that she
is

Sara and Niall in a baby sling. He is the happiest child on earth, all
he does is laugh!

Liz tucking into all the left-overs

I seem to have fallen off my Christmas tree. Grant informed me that there
is a song called "So fairies wear boots, then". I'm happy to
say that I've proven it.

Me and my magic wand. "What is your wish, my love?"

Bless Debs. She never stopped working!
