Mum's 60th birthday, April 2006 We had a surprise party for my mum's 60th in Hull this weekend. Her birthday's Monday 1st May, but we partied a couple of days earlier so all the rellies could be there. Happy birthday mummy!!! So the hotel had "Elvis Auditions" on their board. Mum thought she was off for a meal. Dad suggests they take a peek at the auditions before meeting up with us for the meal. Mum opens the door and there are 40 of us stood there with Elvis masks on and then Charlie sings "Happy Birthday" while 40 Elvises stare her out. Mum loves Elvis, and now she carries one of the masks round in her handbag just like Paris Hilton does with her doggy. Dad and Uncle Colin. Peas in a pod.
