May weekend 2007 I love a party, especially when it's thrown in my honour (and Dani's and Zachary's and Kate's new dex). Nubile young men peeling me grapes weren't there, but everyone else was. It was in my *other* home, at Kate's. Then I went to my parents for a game of charades and a storm that turned my mum into a novelist. Dani and children. Dani with the children. Joe. He calls himself Evie's spiritual father. I agree. They're special together. Joe and Evie. Joe, Kate and Shazzie. Joel and Kate and cake. Kate and Joe the day after the party. Sleep??? Charlie's turn at charades, so Evie had to copy. Bless. Evie being lovely. Don't I have the most beautiful popple in the whole world? Charlie made Evie a smoothie. My dad's trees fell down after the storm. Me and mum didn't care as we were still daydreaming about Johnny. We'd been to see Pirates Of The Cacaorribean the night of the storm. Abandoned brollys everywhere, and part of the cinema fell down.
