Me and Evie go to Brighton, June 2006
I had to do a talk down in Brighton. Any excuse for a break (well,
not really, I've not had one in three years!), I decided to make a week
of it. We strolled along the prom, played on the beach, hung out in the
town (especially Kate's raw chocolate shop), and went to four parties.
I feel so rejuvenated, I can't begin to say. Evie's the same, very happy,
tanned and relaxed. We loved every second of it, and we're gonna move
there! Oh yeah, my mum and dad came to stay, then Joe came to stay. Mrs
Lisa Renny was going to stay, too but couldn't make it. Love holidays
when my loved ones visit!

My mum's cousin June was also in Brighton, with her grandaughter. Everyone's
there.

A distant rellie of mine who wants to be called Poppy, so that's all I
remember her as. She just moved from Hull, and is now about 20 miles from
Brighton. Her dad manages Hove cricket team or something.

Raw chocolate pastries at one of the parties we went to. Made a bit according
to a recipe in Naked
Chocolate. I was like "wow, do people actually use my recipes".
Must stop being so naive and shocked that this thing's happening and big.
And the best thing about the parties I went to, they were all raw, and
Evie could just wander around eating whatever she liked, and not feel
odd or different. Me too. We just have to live somewhere where being raw
isn't such a struggle, don't we?
