-- October's snippets
19th October -- Phew. What a mad few weeks. Went to stay with
mum, then got back here an stopped losing weight. There's sommat odd about
mutha's house. So took the resolve. There's really nothing else for it,
is there. I can't hide from this one! Today is my first 100% raw day since...
ohhh, a long time! Wish me luck. My goodness, I've been about 80% raw
throughout my pregnancy, except for a few days in the beginning, and I
put sooo much weight on. I was actually under the illusion that it'd go
really quickly once I'd had Evie. Tee hee. Hormones and food, great combo.
So, am back on it now, it's really the only thing that works for me, I
knew that all along. You just can't swim against the tide when you know
that'll make you drown, can you? Best to let it carry you away to a tropical
island full of coconuts and tanned men. Oh, am getting carried away!
Anyway, I'll keep you informed of my once again raw transformation. Now
then...
Took these piccies of my darling the other day. She's so into giggling
right now, especially when you hold The Magic Ball up in front of her
(a blue Mathmos light). She always giggles at that.
What else has been going on? Not a lot really. Have been snatching hours
here and there to work, and have discovered walking again. Amazing how
when you don't have your car around and you're living in a town how much
you enjoy walking. Poor Vera's stuck at Matt's mum's until we buy our
dream home. Which will only happen when someone buys my home -- so if
you're a witch and you're reading this, please cast a spell on my house
for it to sell. Ta very much.
It's such a perfect day
Oh my goddess! You know when you have one of those Perfect Days? I just
had it. Evie fell asleep before 11pm last night on my boob, and she fed
with us both lying down during the night, so I feel like I had a good
night's sleep. Kate came to visit me yesterday so I was already feeling
energised from her raw recipe nurturing. We woke up, had a bath together
(as we do every day) and then she went to sleep for a bit while I did
my first proper yoga session since having her. I managed a whole 30 minutes
of Astanga, the whole of the standing poses. Very happy about that. I
felt very weak, though, and am not as flexible as I was, but am now so
driven to get as fit as I was before my little love came along.
I've just had juice today with some cabbage/onion/avocado salad, and
so feel great. Got a tonne of work done, and went for a walk into town
with Evie in my sling (which I'm really getting used to now). Now it's
5.40 and my Princess is sleeping on a pillow on my knee as I type. Wow.
Life's great, eh.
And do you know what? I felt something BIG when doing yoga. I'm sure
I used to feel it all the time but forgot about it -- you know it feels
like that real big Universal Connection, as if God has just caught me
on the end of a fishing line, with a love heart for a hook. Wow.
Just
put some new pictures up...
Lisa Currants came to stay at the weekend. I must say, she's looking lovelier
than ever, and did make me laugh. Love her!
